Mount Humphreys

Thanks to a generous donation from the McGraw Foundation, VOT48 will be taking a team of 10 veterans to Arizona from June 2nd to June 9th, 2027 to climb Mount Humphreys; Arizonas highest mountain. Flights and Lodging provided. This hike is difficult and will cover 11 miles round trip and gains over 3,000ft of elevation before summiting the 12,633ft peak. If you are interested in joining this adventure, please complete the application survey below. The deadline to apply is August 14th. VOT48 will make the final selections prior to September 1st.

Bear Notch challenge

Our first attempt at a team challenge. 2 teams of 10 veterans will compete in a 13-mile weighted sled pull on Bear Notch Road in Bartlett, NH. All participants will receive an event shirt, challenge coin, team lunch, and lodging the night before. A $200 fundraising minimum will be required by 12/15. Flags on the 48

Saturday, September 12th will be the 2026 Flags on the 48 9-11 memorial hike. VOT48 will be responsible for Mt. Bond. This will be a 16 mile round trip day. To join, click the link below.

Veterans Day: Mt. Isolation

Happy Veterans Day! Celebrate on the summit of Isolation with VOT48. This hike is very challenging and will span over 12 miles and gain over 5,000ft in elevation. For more information and to join us for this day hike, click the link below to email our group leaders.
